Lampshade / 2006
A
lampshade is made by wrapping thin steel wire around a wooden mould.
The wrapping is done by hand in a random way so that each lampshade,
unique in density, shows the indivisual character of the maker.
Though the shape is similar enough to be sold as a product.
This
handmade product is designed by considering about how we can use
the merit of handcrafts for a product. I tried to make craftsmen
more confident and products more valuable by giving them free with
small restriction. |
